So, guys, I've got a question for you all. Why did/do you attend a college (if you did)? Staying away from the obvious "I wanna make more money" answer, I'm here because I want to find my niche; the thing I will enjoy making money by doing. Most people already have an idea of what they want to do, but I feel as if that feeling is more generalized for me. I love computers, and know for a fact that I want to do something involving them in some way. However, the branch of computing I want to do is still cloudy. Networking? Engineering? Peripherals? Too many choices.
So, why do YOU guys go to college? Or, for you other brave people, why did you choose NOT to go to college?
P.S., my mom already went to college, so no Napolean Dynamite references, please. :)
Your mom went to college.
ReplyDeleteI originally went to college to put off getting a job and stuff. I'm going to try to go back to college mainly to put off paying off loans.
I live in England so pretty much everyone goes to college. =P (it's 16-18 here)
ReplyDeleteOriginally, I went to college because I was bored and all my friends were going, so I didn't want to be the odd man out.
ReplyDeleteStupid, stupid me. I'm in debt for a course I couldn't give two shits about, and all I learned from my experience was that I had a shitty experience. If I could figure out what I actually want to DO in life, I think my opinion would change though.
Cause you can't get a decent job without an education.

ReplyDeleteI went to college because I was conditioned from birth to believe that that's what I had to do in order to be successful.
ReplyDeleteDoubt I'll go to college. I was thinking about it, but I just went into the working world after high school, now that I'm a tad older, I'm pretty sure I'm jumping into illustration studies next year instead of heading off to a proper college. Do whatever makes sense for you, I suppose!
ReplyDeletecollege? do not want x(
ReplyDeleteI'm only going because you need a degree to get an ok job. Even then, I'm probably joining the military after school as an officer, I hope.
ReplyDeleteHaha, because I don't want to get a crap job right now. Sucksssss
ReplyDeleteWell, I could have went to college, since im fresh out of highschool. I know this isn't your question but why I DIDN'T go to college/university. Is because I want to sorta get settled in, Work fulltime for a bit, earn some bank... Then from there im going to think about what I want to do.
